Hello glamistas!
How was your week? Mine was hectic work-wise, but I got to spend quality time with one of my oldest childhood friends and the week ended happily at an “80s&90s” themed party! As you can imagine, there were plenty of ideas to choose from, but the combination of decades made the party very interesting: from funky and colourful hairstyles to Fame-inspired dancers, passing by Britney Spears and the iconic Madonna.
We had a blast! I sometimes think we will be 60 and still play dress up because it never gets old…
Now, on another not-at-all-related topic, this week’s post showcases a new colourful outfit with bare ankles. See a trend there? Yes, I should go buy some socks!
Warning! This post contains high doses of pink. If you feel your eyes are strained due to the overload, scroll down to the neutral-coloured bottom of the page and leave a comment.
Since I can recall, I have always liked the colour pink. As girly as it may sound, it has always inspired me calm and positive thoughts, so I have favoured this colour on many occasions, particularly for the walls of my bedroom. When it comes to my wardrobe, however, I realised when preparing this look that this thrifted cotton knit is one of the few pink pieces I own, but maybe that’s why it is an all-time favourite of mine!
This jumper is warm + comfy + slightly oversized = perfection ♥
I styled it with a pair of boyfriend-cut jeans from GAP that I seem unable to stop wearing and these gorgeous blue kitten heels. The shoes simply speak for themselves and I am always looking for an excuse to wear them.
Just.Look.At.Them.
I rest my case.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, lovely people!
Love,
Saida

9th February 2017 at 8:50 pmI definitely have a lot more pink than blue clothing in my wardrobe. I think I have a few navy blue pieces and of course a lot of my denim is blue but I don’t have any blue accessories (bright blue) or tops. I love the pop of blue on your shoes too and of course the pink too!

9th February 2017 at 11:31 pmI know, it’s not an easy colour to combine in outfits, and I know some people may be put off by the bright on bright combo, but I am like a moth so… 🙂
Happy almost-Friday, Rina! ♥
