7 Reasons why I love Spring

Good morning, dear glamistas!

I already told you in one of my first posts why winter is my least favourite season.

But today we can rejoice, for the cold days are almost over, and I feel the need to celebrate with all of you some of the many reasons why I love spring ♥

1.   Days get longer and brighter, which can be deceiving when in the office, but definitely yields many more opportunities for after-work plans and allows you to have an actual social life 😉

2.   As a direct consequence of the above, my vital battery lasts longer, I feel full of energy and think of joining the gym, an outdoor yoga class, a running club, a hiking group… OK, you got me, it never comes to anything but picturing myself doing active things almost counts as practising a sport, right?

3.  Transitioning (#wordofthemonth) your wardrobe from a black-grey-white palette towards pastel colours and        floral prints is sooo much fun! I have a small selection so far but still on the hunt for the perfect floral dress 😉

4.  I can finally join outdoors activities willingly, and sitting outside of a cute cafe in England pretending you are in Paris sounds like the best Sunday plan ever!

5.   Change of colours in the city: all the dormant trees wake up as if by magic and everywhere you look there are now blooming flowers painting the streets in the most gorgeous pastel colours *love sigh* ♥

6.   The city starts buzzing with cultural and entertainment activities such as exhibitions, outdoors concerts, plays in the park… you name it! If you don’t have a plan for every day of the week is because you don’t wanna!

7.   One can finally stop being an onion girl and leave the house with a reasonable amount of clothes on.

Oh! and I can show my #bloggerankles without risking catching a cold in every photo shooting, how cool is that?

Bonus: people smile more and for no apparent reason (me included). Pay attention, spring is in the air, and that shy smile from a fellow citizen might be just for you!

What is your favourite season, are you also a spring-lover or prefer cooler days? Let me know in the comments!

Sending you flowery kisses, my lovelies!

Ahh I love spring for all these reasons as well! The only thing that’s bad about spring is my allergies 🙁

I hear you, for me is a weird thing as some years my allergies are really bad and some others is completely fine :^) You can still enjoy all the colours and beautiful light through pollen-proof windows though! 😛

I think my most favorite thing about Spring is the longer days! I love that I can have time for a photoshoot after work if I really want to. It can be so hard to always get my photos done on the weekend so this allows for a little more flexibility <3
