As most of you know, Mr Vet and I got to spend this New Year’s Eve with my sister (Fabrica de Imaginacion) and her boyfriend’s family in Paris, making it one to remember!
Mind you, we didn’t do anything crazy and our Christmas mainly consisted of an indecent amount of sleeping, eating and tv binging, but decidedly one of our highlights was being able to spend the last night of the year together in a such a beautiful city! I can confidently say that this little trip fully charged our batteries and we are ready to take on whatever 2018 may bring our way.
If in my last post I reflected more on the things we are unable to tick off our ending year’s to-do list, the new year winds have completely swept me over and this week I feel positive, hopeful and excited about the next few months 🙂
I have set myself some clear goals that I will be working towards in 2018 and that will hopefully help me feel more happy and satisfied with my life, without constantly lusting over something else. In my head this is not possible without letting go of material things, (re)connecting with the people who brighten this world and giving back to society as much as I can. It sounds like a heck of a goal now that I see it written, but hey, if we don’t aim high we won’t get anywhere near it!
And as the sparkle of the glitter and the delicate glow of the fairy lights start to fade away, one can only try to capture some of that glorious winter light until spring comes flying through our windows.
Hope you enjoy these shots taken by my sister Koral, featuring the loveliest leather bag from Oficio Studio (borrowed from her, also seen here) and this new off-white crop top Santa brought me this year ♥
What are your resolutions this year, glamistas? Do you feel ready to take on anything 2018 may bring?
Have a fantastic Sunday and week ahead!
Peace&Love

9th January 2018 at 9:42 pmOkay I just have to say that the second I saw this title I was like YESSSSSS because I’m missing Paris so much! I haven’t read the post yet tho but wanted to write down my excitement lmfao.
Okay anyway. I looove how your lipstick matches your nailvarnish, little touches like that with people’s outfits really set me off guard because the little bits of effort really help bring an outfit together and add and make it even more gorgeous. Lucky you, with Santa bringing you the sweater, it looks so comfortable and soft and I’m super jealous! I’m going shopping Friday though, and completely can see myself stocking up on sweaters. Either way, this has made me message my friend like “please come to Paris with me!” so wait for my own Paris posts lol.

8th January 2018 at 9:18 pmHappy New Year, beauty! I hope you succeed at mastering all of these goals you’ve made for the new year. I definitely want to try and do the same. I think in a day and age that’s so fast paced, including fashion, it can become so easy to lust after the next new thing, but in reality that constant need is a form of camouflage for other emotions that need to be dealt with in a more fulfilling way, like giving back as you’ve said. As for our outfit, I simply adore that bag and sweater, so cute!
