Fifty Shades of Black

Happy Sunday, lovely peeps, hope you are having a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious weekend!

So far mine has involved a visit to my very first vintage fair, sort of a wholesale event where you could buy preloved vintage clothing in bulk, and where after ten minutes of getting in you had to navigate through an ocean of hands and manes in order to check out a potential find…

It’s been real fun and we managed to snatch a few nice pieces that I will be showing you in upcoming posts, but to be honest, I have never been a fan of the big sales and this was pretty much like shopping at Macy’s on a Black Friday, so I will be thinking it twice when the next vintage fair comes to town 😀

Anywaysssss… The other part of my weekend involved dragging my boyfriend around the streets of Cambridge to snap pictures of moi, with black clothes, and a cool T-shirt, and sunglasses, cause it was sunny today and I couldn’t have been happier, can you tell? 😉

This week’s outfit is simple, cause sometimes less is more, as I am trying to teach my flamboyant inner self 😉

Instructions for the Perfect 50-Shades-of-Black look:

  1. Identify different black(ish) pieces in your wardrobe
  2. Throw them on together with a pair of badass sunglasses
  3. Go rock your day!

As I prepare this post, a homemade pizza is baking in the oven and calling my name. Mr. Vet and I are completely knackered, but today was a good day, it was a worthwhile day ♥

What have you been up to this weekend, glamistas? Let me know in the comments!

Peace & Love,

Crazy about this outfit, especially this T shirt and a vintage fair sounds like so much fun – I am such a fan of vintage and thrifted finds, but I am totally with you about not being keen on super crowded shopping events. They can be so stressful.

Thank you so much Rae, I am very happy that you liked the look. I also love the tee, it was a gift from a friend who knows me quite well 😉
And yes, the vintage fair was a bit crazy after a while, so next time I think I’ll go solo…
Thanks again for stopping by, hope you are having a great week 😀
